As we near the end of the time allotted for The Leopard's Spots, a few things have shifted again in the setting.
Adjusted prompts for part 3A are up and running here. As always if you would like to follow up on a lead or explore something that isn't in one of the prompts, or if you would like to get involved but aren't sure where to do that, please contact me at

To help tie things together, here's a quick round-up of information that has recently been posted to the bulletin board:Royce and K have confirmed that Wyatt Grayson Bones, one of the high school students who toured the museum on June 19, is the person who checked out every book at the public library related to ancient totemism. It also looks like Wyatt was hiding something in his childhood playhouse, and that the playhouse was torn apart by some kind of shapeshifter. He also had some creepy twig dolls in his room; is he performing some kind of magic?
Wyatt's home, as well as the homes of all the other students who went on the field trip, are easily found thanks to
Brian sharing their school files with the Meadous and plotting all their homes on a map.
Characters who have come in contact with the ruins in Black Rock Park have begun behaving animalistically and drawing wheels reminiscent of the ones in the museum.
Brian and
Ienzo noted the strange behavior of a student named Buckley Fields who had been to the park; Ienzo came back later to
warn investigators to be cautious in Black Rock Park. Rhys was able to confirm that he'd sensed some kind of power in that place and that it seemed to him to be some kind of very old crossroads. A similar descent into instinctive behavior has been
noted in regards to Virginia White, curator of the museum, but there are unexplained differences in how the symptoms have proceeded for her compared to other characters. Rhys
theorized about why this is happening to people based on a book that links the totems to instincts, archetypes, and the "true self."
Quark shared that he had spoken with Wyatt's mom, Summer, who told him that Wyatt had
not been drawing the circles that seem to be symptomatic of contact with Black Rock Park. Quark believes Wyatt's friend, Logan Hairis (another of the students who went on the field trip) knows more than he's letting on. He and Rhys also confirmed that House had fallen victim to the effects of Black Rock Park. People might also notice that
Brian is behaving more strangely than usual; he seems fixated on wheels as well and says there's a "ghost" in Black Rock Park.
Characters may also remember that House
posted a notice about a squirrel with a torn ear and bandaged arm and shoulder who is also searching for Wyatt.
