Event Plotting Post: The Walls of Jericho
Greetings, residents of the Meadous and vistors! Our 4th Wall event is right around the corner. To help facilitate this, we’ve pulled together some world descriptions and FAQs that should help anyone coming to visit the Meadous and surrounding godling lands get situated. For this event, We the Lost will be allowing:
TL;DR - We the Lost is having a 4th Wall Event. It will take place ICly over a two-week period and open up seven additional godling realms to explore. Any and all characters are welcome for this event, be they straight from canon, CRAU, or CRAU’d into a godling realm.
THE WALLS OF JERICHO
The Events Calendar post for the plot is HERE
First and foremost, what is this event? We the Lost is a CRAU Slice of Life game set in the realm of a young godling. Every young godling in the WtL-verse develops a world unique to them and pulls people in to populate it and help them grow. Each godling is influenced by their ‘flock,’ although they all have some basic personality traits that help them make their initial flock selection. The characters in WtL have so far given their godling a name: Zephyr, and a form that changes with the seasons.
Godling worlds are small to start and they expand as the power of the godling expands. There is also a barrier placed around each world, something that separates the godlings’ pocket universes from one another and protects the population from the dangers that run rampant between the worlds. Once a god is mature enough, their barrier will come down. Until that happens, though, the wall is kept in place, holding the inhabitants in and the rest of the world out.
On January 30th, an event on the plane of the gods will shatter the barriers between worlds, breaking down the walls and exposing nearby godling realms to one another as well as the spaces between.
This event will have three effects:
This effect will last for two weeks (until February 13th) when the god plane will sort itself out, the barriers will be restored, everyone from the godling worlds will be put back in the right place, and anyone brought straight from canon or another game will be returned ‘home.’
The godlings will be frantically trying to sort out the situation on the god plane with the older gods and will be largely unavailable. However, they may check in now and again. More information on each of the gods and their worlds is provided below. the worlds open during this event will include:
WtL DOES NOT have a network comm. To facilitate communication for this event, a universal ‘Bulletin Board’ will be put up where people in different realms will be able to communicate.

This event will have three effects:
- There will be an unexpected and unmanageable ‘pull’ out in the multi-verse that will drag in characters straight from canon or from other games and drop them into unsuspecting godling lands.
- Characters already within godling realms will be ‘flung’ across their own plane and may wind up in a different godling world than the one they started in.
- Travel between worlds will be possible.

Eileen falls under the category of Caregivers, but only technically. Her job in her home canon is to put down monster hunters who have themselves started to lose their minds/change into monsters. A lot of these people were her friends for years (and also are very good at fighting), so it isn't an easy job for her to do. But it's a necessary one.
Which is to say, she doesn't really fit in well with the spirit of this godling's world, but that's sort of the fun of it.
She's pretty dang old in her home canon, and I plan on AUing her into Aria from the very start of it, which means that she'll be almost 70 by the time this event happens! She's (warily) watched Lalilia grow into the being she is today, and tries to act as something of a stern grandmother figure. She chooses her words wisely when speaking directly to the godling (although she is fond of her), but is a lot more informal around her fellow citizens of Aria (Arianders?).
She'll be civil, even somewhat friendly, although she silently keeps an eye on them and takes notes of any outbursts they might have. She's also particularly wary of non-human residents of Aria, although she'll warm up to them too with time.
Oh, lastly she'll be viewing this event as one last adventure, and be picking up her blades for (what she assumes will be) the final time. Living in Aria was a nice enough vacation and all but she's always been fairly certain that shit was going to hit the fan at some point and now she's had those suspicions confirmed.
tl;dr fatalistic bird grandma. Have fun with that.

Ok but imagine. Eileen is getting on in years, she's almost seventy. Her body is pretty spry for a seventy year old, but she's still old. What if she's just recently gotten to the point where she has to ask Toriel for help with stairs/ladders on her worse days?

It means we have double the plotting ability. Toriel would definitely help, her boss monster status means she doesn't age so she's kind of been the same age since arrival. She'd probably try to wish for or make magic food that would help for Eileen's worst days too. (Monster food cures injuries/helps with them)

But yeah, I'd love that! I don't want to magically undo any of Eileen's aging (and Eileen would be conflicted about the idea) but it'd be nice if Toriel made things a little easier on her old bones.
Also, for the record, Toriel would probably be one of the only people that Eileen trusts enough to actually tell about her trouble. So she'll probably want her goatfriend to be as subtle as possible when getting her up ladders and such. Nothing overtly sneaky, but like... She'd ask Toriel to wait until no one is around before she gives her a hand up a flight of stairs.

Yeah, it definitely wouldn't unage Eileen. All food from Undertale's world are healing items as well as being delicious looking. It'd ease the burden a lot, but she'd still be feeling it awhile later.
Toriel's pie in canon heals full HP.Haha aww. Toriel would definitely help- not broadcast the issue either. Help her friend subtly on bad days and privately talk to Lailla about making it easier for people to get around without naming names. Likely points the finger at herself to avoid the child god from saying anything about Eileen.

Eileen notices that the steps in some places are suddenly a little less steep. Sideeyes Toriel about it for a while, but doesn't say anything.

Eileen has done some babysitting in the past (mostly out of necessity) so while she's not good with kids, she won't be completely lost around Frisk either. She'll ask the kid if they've been fed well and basically be a responsible adult in their direction.

Luke in actual canon is quite outgoing and friendly, but after his time in Discedo he's withdrawn quite a bit, particularly where I'm pulling him from. He wants to help, but he's all of like...twelve. And small. He can't build things, because he can't reach stuff to build. And he can't heal, because he doesn't have any magical abilities. He just wants to help people feel better but ninety percent of the time he'd really rather just hide from you all
So please bird grandma. In Discedo he had a Zombie dad who took very good care of him

She's honestly not the best with kids, never having had any of her own. She knows enough to be stern, but kind with them and she'll do her best to make sure Luke gets fed every day. She just... might be a little awkward about it, is all. And she's honestly not much of a cook, either.
Basically what I'm saying is that Toriel would be a much better choice for a mom, but Eileen will do the best she can to make sure Luke gets by. As far as social development goes; he can either tag along with her as she goes about her daily routines or he can go out and socialize on his own. She won't really coax him in either direction, although she'd prefer he find other people to get along with as well (maybe Harvey? He seems like a perfectly nice human).

If he gets to a point where he's not scared of her, he might tag along--it's rather what he does, considering the fact that he assigned himself as Layton's apprentice and started following the man around in canon.

He's more than welcome to come if he can keep up (she's almost seventy, though, so he probably won't have too much trouble with that). Her routine almost certainly involved interacting with a few non-humans/rougher types like Toriel, Booker, Stein, etc, so he'll be exposed to them through her, at least.
