Event Plotting Post: The Walls of Jericho
Greetings, residents of the Meadous and vistors! Our 4th Wall event is right around the corner. To help facilitate this, we’ve pulled together some world descriptions and FAQs that should help anyone coming to visit the Meadous and surrounding godling lands get situated. For this event, We the Lost will be allowing:
TL;DR - We the Lost is having a 4th Wall Event. It will take place ICly over a two-week period and open up seven additional godling realms to explore. Any and all characters are welcome for this event, be they straight from canon, CRAU, or CRAU’d into a godling realm.
THE WALLS OF JERICHO
The Events Calendar post for the plot is HERE
First and foremost, what is this event? We the Lost is a CRAU Slice of Life game set in the realm of a young godling. Every young godling in the WtL-verse develops a world unique to them and pulls people in to populate it and help them grow. Each godling is influenced by their ‘flock,’ although they all have some basic personality traits that help them make their initial flock selection. The characters in WtL have so far given their godling a name: Zephyr, and a form that changes with the seasons.
Godling worlds are small to start and they expand as the power of the godling expands. There is also a barrier placed around each world, something that separates the godlings’ pocket universes from one another and protects the population from the dangers that run rampant between the worlds. Once a god is mature enough, their barrier will come down. Until that happens, though, the wall is kept in place, holding the inhabitants in and the rest of the world out.
On January 30th, an event on the plane of the gods will shatter the barriers between worlds, breaking down the walls and exposing nearby godling realms to one another as well as the spaces between.
This event will have three effects:
This effect will last for two weeks (until February 13th) when the god plane will sort itself out, the barriers will be restored, everyone from the godling worlds will be put back in the right place, and anyone brought straight from canon or another game will be returned ‘home.’
The godlings will be frantically trying to sort out the situation on the god plane with the older gods and will be largely unavailable. However, they may check in now and again. More information on each of the gods and their worlds is provided below. the worlds open during this event will include:
WtL DOES NOT have a network comm. To facilitate communication for this event, a universal ‘Bulletin Board’ will be put up where people in different realms will be able to communicate.

This event will have three effects:
- There will be an unexpected and unmanageable ‘pull’ out in the multi-verse that will drag in characters straight from canon or from other games and drop them into unsuspecting godling lands.
- Characters already within godling realms will be ‘flung’ across their own plane and may wind up in a different godling world than the one they started in.
- Travel between worlds will be possible.

Plotting
Frisk | Undertale
FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DON'T KNOW UNDERTALE, the spoiler free version of Frisk is that they are the primary protagonist, very much a stubborn optimistic child who is both a good listener/good at making friends and also prone to bouts of ridiculousness. Like flirting.
I think that Frisk has probably been there around six months and is finally starting to settle, even if they're still pretty determined that they're gonna find a way back to their family at some point. They probably would have talked to most everybody at least once. There may have been flirting involved if you've talked to them more often. Frisk also took to the underground dwellings like a fish to water and if asked why would've explained why happily. Frisk would be a frequent participant in expeditions, or even just liking to go on adventures themselves.
But not any hunting parties. Don't kill and don't be killed yo.

Like we talked about vaguely in plurk- Toriel and Frisk are def meeting during this. Depending on what you're down for, I'll probably have a very confused Toriel appear in Arjas. Goat mom will cry when she sees her smoll.

Bertie Wooster (Revenance CRAU) | Jeeves & Wooster
Also, again, he's from the 20's so he's kind of old-fashioned. His brief time in Revenance did force him to come to terms with this a little bit, but he still gets weird around people who don't dress "properly" and women who pursue more "masculine" interests (such as pretty much everything there is to do in Ajras other than hang around in the caves like he does) and anyone else who's similarly out of the ordinary by those standards so. Apologies for that in advance.

(Don't fret Bertie she won't fall in love with you).
Bertie Wooster (My Little Jamjar CRAU) | Jeeves and Wooster
Bertie is a small, yellow pegasus of the My Little Pony variety with a pair of spats for his cutie mark and a special talent in dancing. He also happens to be the Element of Wonder after taking down the Big Bad of My Little Jamjar. Instead of going home as he thought he would be at the end of that romp, Bertie was transported to Ajras. He's only been in the place a few months and hasn't worked out that he could potentially wish to be a human again.
In general, he's polite, inclined to bursting out in song and dance, as is the wont of a pony, and finding clouds to bring down into the valley and snooze on. He's a little more at ease with the women in Ajras who have more traditionally masculine habits, but clothes still throw him for a loop. He's been a pony for two and half years. People weren't really wearing clothes for him to be aghast about.

Jack would catch him if he looked like he was actually going to fall and get hurt, though.

Takua the Chronicler | Bionicle
Takua doesn't lead expeditions into the unknown, but he's totally going to tag along whenever something cool might happen, and he has a knack for being in the right place at the right time to see interesting events. He's a smallish (three and a half feet tall) biomechanical creature called a Matoran from an island, and despite the indications that there was clearly some kind of extremely high tech stuff going on in his world's past (literally everything on his planet is biomechanical, robotic framing filled in with muscle tissue), his island is about the same level of tech as Ajras. Plus they use lightstones for their underground village too, so that cool.
After about a year and a half here he's totally gotten over his "completely organic creatures are horrifying" initial reaction, which is good. He's also probably contributed some culturally-important concepts to everyday conversation (or just, you know, increasing confusion), like referring to the "village" part of Ajras as Ajras-koro (or, the koro) and anywhere else (above- or belowground) as Ajras-wahi (or just the wahi).
Voted most likely to go on stupid risky adventures. Most likely to forget how human genders work.

Gary Epps (the Games CRAU) | OC
Gary hasn't been in Ajras very long--maybe three or four months--but he's used to being uprooted and finding ways to entertain himself and has adjusted accordingly. Thankfully his time in Panem has taught him how to channel his natural skepticism away from just denying weird aspects of his new environment, leading instead to a very persistent curiosity that this world takes advantage of readily. No electronics means Gary has little investment in his house, so he probably spends most of his time exploring, doing really stupid shit just to see if he can get away with it, and being really loud the whole time. His ability to control his own adrenaline was repressed in Panem but he would have wished for it back almost as soon as he realized he could, meaning that he's filled with apparently boundless energy and oblivious to any physical duress until he crashes very hard. He's certainly partaken in many expeditions, in planned groups and on his own, many times since he's arrived--and gotten into just as many tricky situations as a result. If someone hasn't put a leash on him yet, they should. Responsible adults to make sure Gary doesn't get too ahead of himself and other kids that he can make bad decisions with would all have some experience dealing with him at some point, along with everyone else, because Gary has a big set of lungs and zero chill and if he can't be heard belting the lyrics to something while puttering through the caves then he's probably getting into trouble somewhere.

Lukas | OC| Ruby City CRAU
Demons are primarily city dwellers, so while Lukas likes some adventure, he'll definitely be a fish out of water here. He's also very social so he won't like being alone, and will follow around almost anyone like a 6 and a half foot tall lost puppy.

Steven Universe | Steven Universe
I imagine Steven has been taking advantage of all the swell underground acoustics to jam on his ukulele and sing catchy, uplifting songs about friendship and junk. The fact that all of the rocks appear to just be rocks is kind of weird, but hey, it's still pretty cool living in a cave! Reminds him of home - unlike the surface world, which is probably a bit nippy for his tastes. Still, this kid is never going to pass up the chance to go exploring in any given direction you care to point him.

Meulin Leijon | Homestuck
Meulin is a troll from Beforus, which means that she, unlike the trolls from Alternia, had a life that was pretty cushy. There was that one incident where her matesprit deafened her and another where a member of their group blew them all up, but all in all, not nearly as awful a life as her Alternian counterpart. Mostly. At least as far as she's really aware.
She's bubbly and easily excited, very much an explorer of the world and takes the caverns quite easily. She's nocturnal so she only ventures above ground at night, but in the caverns that's easy to ignore.
Meulin's been here for about a year and is comfortably settled in. Her text would be familiar on the bulletin board, a bright green, along with cat faces and occasional shipping notes. She dabbles in matchmaking, often writing a story or two about you all. It's a bad habit. As is her habit of avoidance. Really, she's been a little stuck in her ways and it's nice to have some place solid and new to stretch her legs and force her to change. It's still a bubble but one entirely new and with strange places to explore.
ETA: She can read lips and use sign language, though it's not clear how much this would have in common with ASL, considering it was made up between her and her ex-matesprit. Also she's prone to adding hashtags to her bulletin board posts. She misses computers.

Ginger (Snowblind CRAU) | OC
She’ll have been here for about nine months, and feeling well settled in. She’s pretty adaptable if only because she likes to find the good in the things around her and not dwell on what makes her sad. If asked about Norfinbury, she wouldn’t mind talking about it, but would probably leave out a few details to spare her own heart. Ginger was a seamstress studying to become a fashion designer, so she’ll sew anything for anyone if she has what she needs to do so.
