EVENT: The Class Pet (Plotting)

What up Meadous, it's time for another player-run event, this time with me! Excuse me while I borrow mod-formatting for plot post clarity's sake.

Come morning on August 5th, everybody in the Meadous will be receiving this letter from Zephyr at their bedside.


Hi Everyone,

It seems like the Horta coming by for the beach was really good, so I made sure that all of the changing stalls will stay up from now on. There's also a big shed where you can find beach supplies. And a building with showers and toilets to make that all a little easier, too.

I'm super excited to announce that Teacher picked me to take care of our class pet, Trico, for the next few days. I'm going to put Trico in the Meadous so that you can meet him! He's really cute and fluffy and feathery and friendly. =:3 He loves pets and giving rides and seeing all kinds of new things. I have to make sure he's fed and exercised, though, so I'm hoping you can all help me out a little bit. I've put barrels with his favorite food all around the Meadous. He has trouble finding them on his own sometimes, so maybe you can help him? He also manifests these weird soldier guys. No one is really sure why, not even teacher. They're kind of mean and have spears with foam on their ends. We usually just have to take turns getting them away from Trico because they'll attack him and pin him down if they can. Maybe you can help with that, too? =:?

If he gets really overwhelmed, I'll be sure to step in. I think you can keep the soldiers away, though. I hope so, because Trico's really great when they're not around scaring him. Let me know if you have any questions.

As an aside, Jeremy will be on a semi-hiatus for the week so I can focus on keeping up with this event and Trico, and tags from him will be a little slow. He'll still keep up with his daily Sally-Cow related activities so everyone can still get their endless supply of milk, but he'll also be dealing with some headaches and psychic overload and he'll have to take it easy for a while. Jeremy will be back in mostly full force once the event is over!
