Mod Announcement: Results for Rules and Punishments!

The poll results are in!

Who should be in charge of establishing rules?
Combo - With counsel from citizens of the Meadous

Who should be in charge of deciding and administering punishments?
Combo 1 - Zephyr will speak to injured parties and ask them what they want for justice, then administer punishment

How should the rules of the Meadous change?
Change Rule #2 - "No breaking or destroying other peoples things without permission." --> Add "or if it's necessary."

AND

Status Quo - Keep them the same.

As these had 40% or more from all respondents, what we're going to do is essentially keep all rules the same EXCEPT Rule #2, which will have the amendment.

What this essentially means is that players will now decide OOCly between themselves on what punishments their characters would ICly request for anything that violates the rules of the Meadous. Zephyr will technically be administering the punishment, but their involvement will be handwaved as them asking the injured party what they want done.

For anything that will affect a large number of characters (e.g., public building destruction or murder), we'd still ask that you give the mods a heads up about it so we can make sure it works. Otherwise, the leash is off and Zephyr will only be applying punishments that victims think is appropriate with a few small caveats. They will not physically injure, psychically alter, or kill anyone, even if a victim is requesting it as a punishment.
