The Meadous Speaks: Godly Punishments - Results (Redux)
Thank you everyone who took our secondary survey for punishments! We got a response from a majority of characters in the Meadous. And with that, our secondary results and revised implementation.
RESULTS
We had some pretty clear results for this survey.
Question #1: Should Zephyr have punishments that MENTALLY alter people?
Result #1: No (68%)
Question #1: Should Zephyr have punishments that PHYSICALLY alter people?
Result #1: Yes (63%)
IMPLEMENTATION
From this point forward:

IMPLEMENTATION
From this point forward:
- Zephyr WILL NOT get directly involved in fights unless they result in moderate to severe injury.
- Zephyr WILL contact participants after and ask for an explanation (this can be hand-waved if it is a minor/petty dispute). Major disputes that result in moderate to severe injury should still be put on the Punishment Page.
- Zephyr WILL take intent into account when assigning punishments. Please bear this in mind if you request a specific punishment for your character. If they were lashing out in fear, we may ask that you choose something less severe if Zephyr would empathize with that character's circumstances.
- Zephyr will include a note about their rules and punishments in the Welcome Letter to the Meadous. It will specifically request that characters who have planned fights or a relationship that involves fighting (e.g., kismesis) let them know.
- Punishments that emphasize the loss of privileges will take the forefront in Zephyr's punishment style.
- Zephyr WILL NOT apply punishments that mentally alter characters in any way.
- Zephyr will consider theft on a case-by-case basis and characters will need to directly contact Zephyr to arbitrate matters of theft.
