Event Plotting Post: The Final Frontier
On the 18th of July, residents of the Meadous will wake to a note from Zephyr at their bedside regarding their newest endeavor: A space ship! Or a gummi ship. They seem to have combined the two ideas after getting a look at Ienzo's satellite. But in any case, they in need of some help. They're a hyper more-than-12-seasons-old with a big project. So many things to do!

This is a week-long IC event. For the first five days, Zephyr will be getting input and assistance on building their ship from the residents of the Meadous. After that, those who want to will hop aboard and blast off into space to meet the moon rabbits and explore their crystal kingdom. Anyone who would like to draw an actual design for the ship, or construct something in a programor the KH builder is more than welcome to do so and submit it. The project will be collaborative, though.
Zephyr is also more than willing to take some small experiments up with them or other devices that characters may wish to install on the ship for monitoring. Someone might also want to weigh in on the issue of space suits, if they're less about mechanical design, and more about fashion. Any accessories/additional instrumentation beyond the ship will need to be wished for. Each addition will cost 50 points across the board. People can pool points together or wish for things for each other, though!
Which Mod is running this plot?
Terri is in charge of this plot and will be responding for Zephyr and any space rabbit NPCs. The other mods have had minimal input on the plot design and what will happen.
May I opt out?
Yes! Participation is entirely optional.
Can we talk to Zephyr?
Yes! Zephyr is here to learn with you and act as your fearless captain.
My character isn't an engineer. Can they still help?
Absolutely! Gummi ships aren't exactly built with sound engineering principles. We're not really... sure how they're built. But if your character can design it and strap a booster to it, the thing can probably fly. Zephyr's magic will make it so. And for those not inclined toward that sort of effort, there's also designing some sick space suits or helping to hand out hot cocoa.
Can characters breathe in space?
That's an exciting question that will be answered as part of this plot! Your characters may still wish to be prudent and get a space suit on. Plus, you have to look the part of a cosmonaut!
