One new high-flyer

Hello, all! My name is Lysoke and I'm introducing a new character to your game. The cyborg I play is Jet Link/002 and he comes from an older anime called Cyborg 009. Jet's from the early/mid-sixties originally and is actually forty years older than he appears thanks to being cryogenically frozen until the early 2000s. He's also part of a team of cyborgs who fight evil organizations bent on starting another World War and other such threats to humanity.

Jet is 18 going on 59 and is usually pretty laid back about life. He's generally out to have a good time and find any way to entertain himself and his curiosity, but when stuff gets serious, he's the first one into the fire and if you're his friend you're his friend for life because he's loyal to a fault. However, he's got a hair-trigger-temper about Certain Things and he has a penchant for not thinking before he speaks (which goes hand-in-hand with his not looking before he leaps). This can lead to him fumbling his words and ending up needlessly frustrated because emotions and perpetual teenage hormones are hard.

As for being a cyborg, Jet's got jets in his legs that allow him to fly up to Mach 5 speeds and a prototype accelerator system that allows him to move so fast that time slows down to him for short periods. He has a whole host of cybernetics all throughout his body, but with the exception of a set of small vents on his sides, they're all internal and unnoticeable.

Also, Jet's a canon-AU and comes from the game vatheon (which was like Atlantis but with curses) before arriving at WTL. He'll be staying on Creampuffway. If you'd like, you can find me on plurk at Lysoke and I look forward to playing with all of you!

Welcome, welcome! I'm Terri, one of the mods here. I'm actually very interested in seeing how our new cyborgs deal with some of the inventor-type characters we've got in the game. And I look forward to playing my own characters with yours! I play Bertie, here, a 1920s English dandy with more money than sense, and Zoe Washburne, a space western mercenary who went through a bit of a wringer and came out a changeling missing most of her memories on the other side.

Hey there! This is Airdra, and in WtL, I have Hajime here, who is a Kamen Rider who is familiar with that whole "cyborgs fighting evil organizations" concept thanks to hanging out with oldschool Riders elsewhere in jamjardom. Should be fun to throw him at Jet!

Hi there, and welcome to the game! I'm Lampy, and I play three characters here. There's Natalie Waters, a former World of Darkness-style vampire, Dakki Sigal, a cheerful space robot artificial humanoid OC from Phantasy Star Universe, and a reincarnated villain-turned-stockbroker AU version of the Peacock Undead from Kamen Rider Blade.

Cyborg 009 is a canon I've always meant to get into, and I love the characters from it! I'm really looking forward to playing with you!
