Test Drive Meme the Sixth!
The Dog Days of summer are upon he Meadous and the walls are at a height that the sun shines down bright and hot. The air is humid and the colors of the grasses and flowers seem to be almost over-saturated in the light. The only reprieve is the slow cool breeze rolling across the landscape.
The coolest spots by far are near the Wishing Pond and the Lake. There are towels and umbrellas set out surrounding the water in an attempt to look something akin to a beach. A few inflatable beach balls roll around in grass as well. By the lake, there are hammocks strung up between the trees for lounging. A few also have rope swings, and there is a wooden canoe at the lake should anyone wish to try it out. It's as close to a beach as one can get in a landscape covered in grass and filled with pastel baby animals.
A few rough approximations of food carts are settled nearby - hot dogs, hamburgers, and roasted veggies are there along with fruits and ice cream. There are coolers with cans of soda and bottles of water. It would be a good idea to put an umbrella over the food carts, but it seems Zephyr's forgotten this in their excitement to have everything set.
Newcomers can enjoy coming upon the strange set up as they emerge from new homes.

[all this nature shit, she was used to. but what she wasn't used to was the complete absence of anything that made the Gardens themselves. either it was more magic and something else that decided to unceremoniously plunk her down, or something was horribly wrong, not just because the Vine was gone.
gathering herself, she made the decision to explore, and when she gets to the lake she's regretting the idea. too damn hot, really, but the soda helps, as well as kicking off her shoes and wandering in to cool her feet off.]
Should have brought a swimsuit...
[b]
[later, she's taken up a spot in one of the hammocks, closing her eyes and trying to resist the urge to nap lest more weird shit happen without her knowing. to help keep herself awake, she starts to sing, soft and wordless with a slow rhythm. the tune is almost sad, but she seems perfectly at ease.]

[The cheerful suggestion comes from the very purple woman that's coming up from behind. She has a towel draped over her shoulder, and is wearing shorts and a sleeveless blouse.]
Though that might take a while... maybe you could borrow something from someone here, then?
[She just wants to be helpful! Although it seems to occur to her, after offering such helpful suggestions, that perhaps there are more important, immediate things to be talking about than swimsuits... She hesitates, looks the young woman up and down, then extends her hand and beams.]
I don't think we've met yet! Hello! I'm Dakki Sigal.

Ankh | Kamen Rider OOO | from My Little Jamjar
There's a brand new house in the village, with a nice wide front door and a bird-shaped mailbox. And bursting from that front door in a flurry of feathers and rage is a bright red pegasus. His hooves hit the cobblestones of the front walk noisily, but soon he's airborne, head snapping this way and that as though he were seeking something extremely vital.
"Gentarou! GENTAROU, YOU ASS!!! What the hell did you do!?!?" For the last thing he recalls is that stupid Rider calling him a 'rainbow-studded assbird' before the entire world exploded into rainbows and crashlanded him here. Words like those just couldn't go unanswered. There was a pompadoured idiot that needed a good thrashing, and he was ready and raring to deliver it.
B - Down at the Lake
The shouting has stopped, for the Greeed-Pony-Whatever creature has located the frozen treats. He had gone wandering, found the food carts nearby, popped one open out of curiosity... and when he saw it was full of popsicles? He finally had something to do other than flying around this tiny little place and scowling.
One might question how a pony would eat a popsicle. Or more accurately, hold one. But a hint that this abnormal creature is exceedingly abnormal is that he has manifested an armored claw-hand upon his right foreleg. So he holds the sweet icy treat by the stick as he half-chomps and half-licks his way through one, then another, then another still, and another yet....
Do you want a popsicle? You are going to have to get past him, first.
A
PONY.
THAT IS A PRETTY PONY.
HE'S GONNA PET THE PONY.
Enjoy that chirping giant bug with the grabby claws rushing at you, Ankh.

Have a unicorn. A purple one, in a Black Mage's hat. Who is currently using some kind of sun-shaped charm as a dousing bob.
"It's likely this is the work of another godling like the Pale Pony," Lucia Bolido says. "Who I intend to find. And have words with."

He's drawn to the lake with the thought that he might get some sort of cooling breeze off the water and is delighted to find just such a thing. Even more delightful, there appears to be a new resident. Another pony! And this one has wings even. Bertie pulls his wings down and tight against his back before approaching. The girl - is that a girl? It's hard to tell from the back, but the pony does have a fancy mane. In any case, the equine seems to be focused on food. He'd normally question how they could hold anything, but given Nemo and Meulin's abilities, it's not really that surprising.
"What- dear God, what's on your arm!?" The exclamation slips out before Bertie can stop it. He's come close enough to catch sight of the gauntlet.

Its important to note that he has mirror shades on. Not for the glasses, but for the fact that under them his eyes are completely black.

"I say! Bingo, get back here!" Bertie calls. He knew he shouldn't have let the little fiend off his leash.
Bingo approaches the new person cautiously, whuffling, but not outright growling or barking. "Sorry! Dreafully sorry, old thing," Bertie apologizes when he reaches them and picks up the puppy before he can get much further toward the hammock. "I... oh, you're a new face." And a rather relaxed one. "Bertie Wooster. How do you do?"

2ollux Captor | M2 Paiint Adventure2: Home2tuck
sollux's everywhere.
If it were him, he wouldn't want anyone to come bug him, and it sort of his him, so he probably shouldn't. Still, there was a certain nagging voice that sounded like a particular princess he used to know in the back of his head telling him he should go over and say hello.
With a frown, he comes over. One of his horns is broken and he's still got his collar from The Facility wrapped around his neck. He stands at about 6 feet, significantly taller than he was at 6, and with the frown he's wearing that might look a bit intimidating.
"Hey." It's all he says, it's about all he can think to say.
there are two with threads on this, that seems like the perfect number
and then sollux learns just how annoying he really is
about time he learned what everybody else knows already ;P

"Hey." Even though he knows the guy, they haven't really talked, so Equius stops a respectable distance away from him.
Congrats, you just broke him

Lucia Bolido (Twilight Sparkle) | My Little Pony AU | My Little Jamjar
She starts chanting in Latin. Anyone want to ask what she's doing?
[B] "I wish to regain my true form. I wish, I wish, I wish."
That same unicorn tosses her coin in. There's a 'plop.'
Suddenly, she shudders and jerks up. Her forehooves become fingers, she rocks back onto ankles that sink back into her heels, and her hair transmutes itself into clothing.
She grabs her horn - pulls it - there's a handle on it, somehow, and she lets it drop to her side, her wand no longer physically part of her.
The ex-unicorn opens her eyes and smiles. Then she bows. "Thank you for hearing me."

He waits and watches, at least until she's done chanting. Interrupting magic usually wasn't the best of ideas.

Jackson Isaka (Peacock Undead) | Kamen Rider Blade | Save the Earth
This is all very rustic. And Jack doesn't really care for rustic. He had never enjoyed getting sent to summer camp as a boy, and the one time he had gotten hauled off for a fishing trip with the other new members of the firm, he had come back with sunburn, a poison ivy rash, and everything that he'd brought with him reeking of wood smoke. Rustic can go take a flying leap.
He's not happy, as he stands out in front of his house, a cup of coffee in hand. (From what he was damned sure was his own coffee maker from home, but he'd worry himself more about that later.) Not that caffeine did him much good anymore. Or that he was feeling particularly sleepy. But it was a dewy summer morning out in the country and this somehow felt appropriate. There are what looks like other houses dotted across the landscape, so he's on the lookout for the inhabitants of said houses. No shouting "hello" just yet, though. He's sizing them up carefully, first.
B
"Grape soda... grape soda... cola... diet cola... Damn it, isn't there..." It's later in the day, and Jack has found his way to the festive party scene down by the lake. What he'd like to have is a can of beer, but he's having no luck in finding one. But he's determined to find out the entire contents of this cooler before giving up hope, so he's pulling cans out and setting them aside. At least until the cold gets to be too hard on his hands. Then... well... no one here is going to care if he's doing something super-powered, are they? He's levitating them out and off to the side now. He might have disliked the whole 'turning into a giant violent birdman' thing, but the psychic powers? Those were pretty cool.
B
But that's the Peacock Undead rummaging around through the cooler in the most obvious and obnoxious fashion possible, and here Hajime is fully human and unarmed. He's torn between hoping he won't be seen so he can run back to his house, grab his bike and belt, and get back, or trying to start something now.
...and now he's also got to deal with Darkroach wandering over there to start curiously grabbing at that floating grape soda.

Roxas | Kingdom Hearts | from High Seas
[As he emerges from this place that he's arrived in, he finds himself looking out at the big bright sun. He can't help but shield his eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath.
Here he stands, a beach in sight and it feels so very wrong without Lea. Roxas doesn't want to think about it, but maybe there's a way to go back to him. Admittedly he feels very lost without him, taking cautious, ginger steps towards the food stalls.
He blinks owlishly at the person behind the counter and after a moment makes his decision.]
I'll have chocolate.
[It's the non sea-salt ice cream flavour that Lea really wanted him to like.]
[B]
[Roxas has found his way to the hammock, something he's now very familiar with and throws himself into one, leaning back to relax and look at the sky. He's supposed to be resting after all and lounging in a hammock couldn't be all that bad.]
A
Righto! Just a moment!
[He goes scrounging through the icebox below the counter and comes up with a packaged ice cream that says chocolate on it.]
You're free to come 'round the counter if you want anything else, old fruit. We're not terribly formal here, you know?

He produces a loud, angry dialtone in frustration, not as a side effect of his synthetic nature so much as it was just a sound file he had stored away and felt was an appropriate expression of his feelings at the moment.

Marla | Pokemon OC | Demeleier
Demeleier was sorely lacking in fizzy sugared beverages.
A large, batlike creature flutters near her, quietly chowing down on a hot dot before receiving a scratch on the ear from its trainer. Then the girl sits down, shaking the can of orange soda excitedly before opening it to watch it fizz all over her hands--before she's laughing and crying and making undignified noises like a tiny coffee pot.
It's just been so long.
Re: Marla | Pokemon OC | Demeleier
The girl who is currently looking at her with a worried expression is rather tall--she looks well over six feet to most people and her true height is a few feet more--and she looks like she might be from Kanto. She doesn't seem to be bothered by the bat.

Veronica Madaraki | Franken Fran | Dangan Roleplay
Everything was... different. It was new and scary and Veronica didn't like it.
Where she had just been, everything was fake. The food, the air, the people's faces. All comprised of ones and zeros. Who's to say all of this wasn't the same?
She picked a hamburger off the cart and sniffed it. Seeing it as safe enough, she shoved it in her mouth and started chowing down on it.
Over two months in a stasis pod left you pretty hungry.
Re: Veronica Madaraki | Franken Fran | Dangan Roleplay
"Hi? Are you new or have I just not met you yet?" she asks, waving at the new-to-her girl with the scar on her face. If Veronica looks up, she'll see a Japanese girl with reddish brown hair and green eyes doing that waving. She's very tall, however, more than six feet. (In actuality, she's about nine foot tall and also green, but most people can't see through the Glamour that makes her look mostly normal.)

Psychonauts - Milla Vodello
The psychic walks around, laughing when she comes upon a beach ball. With very little effort she makes it levitate in the air, bobbing slightly in the breeze. "The only thing missing is music, then it'll be a real party."

The man coming along the lake shore is in slacks and a dress shirt, and wearing sunglasses that might have been fashionable sometime in the early 2000s. He looks amused, and maybe a little out of place. Certainly not pastel or pastoral enough to be a native. Though that amused look becomes a thoughtful one instead as he turns his focus to that floating beach ball. "...that you, or do they do that all by themselves, here?"
