Time for the CR Meme again! Let's get on the same page with regards to what kind of RP funtimes we want in the near future.

You know how this works:

Different vampire clans tend to innately manifest different sorts of powers, though at very low levels that need to then be consciously built upon and worked on. Dominate's first power is "say a single word, person compulsively does it", which strikes me as the kind of thing to accidentally do unconsciously. Ventrue also get Presence, whose first level is Awe, a "I am so awesome, aren't I, everyone likes me" aura.

Going back to the books, a starting vampire gets a few 'dots' to put in to the powers they want their character to start with. It's entirely possible that Bertie has no innate talent for Dominate or Presence at all, and all his natural vitae-doing-things-to-you went towards Fortitude instead!

Hmm... I shall ponder on this. Because I can see it being hilariously terrible for him to discover he's suddenly got these powers that he Does Not Want.

And at this point, I'm just chiming in to say I can so see Hajime just trying harder and getting really frustrated and trying over and over again if his first attempt at punching Bertie fails.

...and I'm also also volunteering him in that scenario to be an accidental mind-control victim when asked to stop with the punching, though that would come with the drawback of making him really angry if/when he realized what had happened. |D
