This is Madb, again, because I missed playing this lady. Although don't call her a lady, she gets confused about the whole polite vs. nobility thing and her species doesn't do nobility.
Kiziah (or Ki) is a non-human humanoid. There's a full description of her here but the main points are: She's 6'6" tall, built like a brick wall (she probably looks like she's about 220lbs, but due to heavier bones she clocks in at around 320lbs), and has thick, heavy, gnashing, tearing fangs. There's a photo-manipulation at that link, but the second she opens her mouth it's obvious she's not human.
She's from the 1830's, a parallel Earth with three sentient species instead of just one. Her people are nomads, so she doesn't even really understand most of the technology of her time (tech from the 1830's wasn't terribly portable), however that doesn't mean she's dumb. She speaks three languages fluently (Katzu, English, and French) and two at a moderate level (Japanese, and Italian). Knowledge, after all, is very portable.
