Plot Wrap-up: Now You're Playing With Portals

With the final puzzle of the Maze being complete, we bring the plot to an end.

A summary for those who did not participate:

In an attempt to practice new kinds of magic, Zephyr created a portal maze on the edge of town and challenged the residents to reach the center. The maze consisted of riddles, tile puzzles, and portals; culminating in a laser puzzle that spanned most of the maze. A prize was promised to every person who participated in the maze, if the village should reach the center.

For those who did participate:

At the center of the maze, the residents will find a grassy area about four times the size of the other rooms. In the middle of the room sits a stone table. Fifteen bronze compasses have been left on the table, each one with a cover that snaps open and closed and a chain to attach it somewhere. There's also a note that reads:

Everyone,

Congratulations! You did it! I knew you would be able to solve it. =:3

I had a lot of fun, and I hope everyone else did, too! Please take one of the compasses on the table as a prize. When you hold the compass and think about something you've lost, it will be able to point you in the direction of where that thing is. Then you'll be able to find it! Right now it only works for stuff in the Meadous, but I hope this will be really useful for everyone!

Thank you so much for playing with me!

Love,
Zephyr

True enough, when holding the compass, the needle will point to any misplaced object that the holder is thinking about. If that object is not in the Meadous, the needle will instead spin in circles, indicating that it doesn't know which direction to point in.

Residents will be able to take one each, and only one each. If they try to grab more than one, the second compass will disappear and reappear back on the table.

The maze will have remained standing for the duration of the plot (until the end of April), at which point it would disappear. Until then, Zephyr would have left it up for others to look at the riddles and puzzles, or to play with the lasers.
