Toriel probably kept a pretty close eye on poor Luke. just generally mom'd at him and gave him space when he needed it. Swooped in to fuss along with nudge him out of the weirder adult fights happening.

Toriel is def patient and likely to wait it out. Keeps moming at him, shows up at his house with a pie every once in awhile and general friendly chatter.
