Aria - Lalilia

Nicknames: Lala, Lal, Li Li
Selection Criteria: Caregivers, Parents, Builders
World Age: 4 Years
World Size: Four Square Miles, second layer of cloud cover for businesses.
Level of Technology: Mixed. Technology regularly fails thanks to rainstorms.
Weather: Cycles through sunny, stormy, and wind storms.

Dwellings: Houses are made of collected sticks, branches and cast off wood, but made tightly to withstand the occasional wind storms. Each house looks vastly different than the last, composed of odds & ends found around landscape. Furniture within is equally as varied. Flock members are more likely to make each other furniture opposed to trusting cloud made gifts. Mailboxes are shaped like colorful eggs, names painted on the front in small letters. Birds roost over houses with more elaborate decorations and perches. Newer buildings are made of cloud and metal. Pink and grey glitter together gently under the warm rays of the sun.

Godling Demeanor: Lalila lets emotions rule her behavior more than logic, it doesn’t mean logic won’t appeal to her. Given a solid explanation she is quick to try and correct her behavior or some mistake. Lailia can’t quite grasp what the big picture is without some help. She is genuinely kind and empathetic, but lets that overrule a lot of thoughtful responses. Especially when an issue is pushed, Lailia is more likely to get frustrated and cry when things don’t work the way she wanted them to. She wants best for her flock, even if it means she picks up on their bad behavior as much as they pick up on her own. She is a people pleaser of a child and it’s clear she’s still learning how to focus on making herself happy opposed to making others happy first. She provides everything readily and meddles in arguments worried about her people’s well being.
Godling Appearance: A very pink fluffy chimera. Lalila looks like a mixture of bird and rat. They are the size of a human child but can shift sizes to rat or bird size on a whim.

Setting:
The landscape is soft and fluffy, those who live here walk with a light step. Even those who walk heavily find themselves unable to fall through the peach colored clouds. Pathways are lined with sticks tied together with mismatched yarn thread. Giant leaves, light weight wood and fabric act as cover for walkways.

In the main square of the town is a statue of the godling and plaques dedicated to long time/deceased residents. Arrival dates and death dates listed in clear carving. Nearby is what looks like a bulletin board composed of a wooden skeleton with clouds filling in the rest. Notes are pinned to it with tacks.

Following the right turn in the cloud walkway will lead them to the nest. A flock of birds have built a variety of nests, roosting comfortably, paying no mind to people. Walking past the birds leads to an overlook where residents can sit and watch the clouds roll by. Falling off of the overlook leads to bird rescue. Bird rescue deposits people safely in front of their homes.

Those who follow the left turn of the main cloud walkway will find themselves at the wishing tree. A large unruly tree that breaks past the cloud cover. Regardless of the season the tree is always covered in fruit. Those who want to make a wish have to shake the tree and grab a fruit. Taking a bite of fruit and thinking about their wish usually does the trick. The fruit always tastes like the flock members favorite sugary treat when they make a wish.

There are cloud openings to another level of the village. Rope ladders lead downwards on bigger openings. The secondary level consists of farming, plants and wild animals roaming freely across the soft cottony clouds. More technology can be found in the odd water mill at the very end. Next to the mill are genuine businesses. Fabric/seamstress, butcher, music shop, vet & doctor. Each shop has its own understated sign and glitters of metal & cloud.

Wildlife consists of the giant birds, weasels, elk, deer, bears.
