Character Name: Royce Melborn (originally from Snowblind) About them: Royce is a rude, emotionally closed off former thief/assassin from a fantasy world called Elan. He's an orphan, and essentially raised himself on the streets of a crime-rich city from about the age of six. A long series of events in his backstory has pretty much destroyed his trust for most people, and he puts up a lot of walls in order to make sure nobody gets to hurt him. He believes most people are only looking out for themselves, and he follows that philosophy himself - if it doesn't benefit him, he won't do it. But over time in Norfinbury, his CR and a lot of events broke through that, and he's gotten better about being a selfish asshole. For the most part, Royce tries to be better (mostly for Alfie, but he's been known to try for other people too) and is working on being a decent human being. It is very much a work in process.
Plans for the future: I'm still thinking about getting him to be able to speak to the trees in the Meadous. I want him to try and get closer to people other than just Alfie, and I do know that the second the snow comes in, he's going to have Problems. It's going to remind him of Norfinbury and he won't handle it well for the first few days. I don't have a particular arc for him other than just like... I want him to recover from Snowblind. Someday I wanna give him the memories he's missing from Norfinbury because man, things got Real after the point I took him from. What kind of CR do you desire: People for him to awkwardly be friends with! People for him to care about. Enemies, people he wants to pick at. He's not super easy to get along with and I never shy away from negative CR. Literally everything and anything. Would you consider having your character get hurt: 100% yes, please fight him Would you be interested in quadrants/pairings: Yeah, sure. It'd be difficult and a long process, but I'm always down. What are you explicitly NOT looking for: Mmm... I don't know! I think I'm really okay with everything.
Other Info We Should Know: I wildly vary on tagging speed lately - I work at a drive through coffee place and it's hectic as fuck and I'm tired a lot, but I don't usually let my tags go for more than two days, unless I'm feeling shitty that particular week!
